What is a Fresh 48?

A Fresh 48 session is an in-hospital (or in home if you’ve had a home birth) photo session that takes place within the first 48 hours of baby’s life.

It’s a really special way to document these sweet first moments that seem to fly by in a whirl, and for you to have tangible memories of this amazing time in the life of your family. I’ll document the sweet details of your baby, these details that change so quickly! Babies can look different in as little as a few weeks. What better way than a Fresh 48 session to document the way your baby looked when you first met?

Fresh 48 sessions are also a really fun way to document older siblings meeting baby for the first time. I never get tired of the ways big brothers and sisters react to their new sibling!

I love to provide Fresh 48 sessions to families in the Butte County, Paradise, Chico, Northern California area. I’m so thankful to be allowed in to these moments in a family’s life, and to document it for them. It’s an honor to provide heirlooms for our local families that can be passed down for generations.
